COLUMBIA, S.C.,—Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the Exodus Mandate Project are pleased to announce that on Saturday, February 25, 2012, the film, IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America (view trailer at www.IndoctriNationmovie.com) won the Jubilee Award as the Best Documentary at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. Additionally, IndoctriNation was the runner up to Courageous, which took top honors in the overall Best of Festival category for 2011.
E. Ray Moore, Frontline Ministries and Exodus Mandate Project, and Dr. Richard A. Jones, American Vision Board, were executive producers of IndoctriNation. Joaquin Fernandez, media consultant for Exodus Mandate, and Colin Gunn, a Scotland-born filmmaker living in Texas, were co-directors and producers. The themes expressed in the film are those of the Exodus Mandate Project, one of several sponsors of the film.
IndoctriNation explores the origins and social impact of America’s public school system and has sparked debate among Christians and atheists over the roles of faith, and government in education. “People are starting to wake up to the damaging effects of a government-controlled education monopoly,” says IndoctriNation co-director, Colin Gunn. He continues, “We now are facing all these problems in America—high taxation, welfare dependency, government debt—and as Christians and conservatives we have to see we can’t solve those problems until we solve the public schooling problem.”
At the Film Festival, Doug Phillips (President of Vision Forum) stated, “This [film] is the tool for which we have been waiting for the last 20 years.”
E. Ray Moore said, “We hope that this movie will help move several million more Christian children into K-12 Christian education and home schooling. Many Christian leaders and pastors are finally giving up on conservative public school reform.”
IndoctriNation has garnered support from Christian ministries and influential leaders across the US. MOVIEGUIDE® founder, Dr. Ted Baehr, gives his endorsement, saying, “IndoctriNation is an extremely important movie. Every church in America should show [it].” Cal Thomas, syndicated columnist and FOX News contributor says, “Every Christian parent with a child in a government school should see this.”

My husband and I are struggling and weary; we have been deealing with chronic stress in our family for many years. My husband has been a persecuted-pastor, and our oldest daughter has suffered with physical and emotional issues for the past five years (she is almost 16). The dissension in the church my husband was pastoring had become so bad that Jim was instructed to "come off the cross" (i.e. request a peaceful release from this call) so that a mediator and intentional interrum pastor could come into the congregation and work on the dissension for uprooting. Our daughter's rebellious attitude toward us ramped to the extent that we could no longer homeschool her this year too; her attitiude was so unteachable and detrimental to the well being of our other children at home. We registered her in our local public high school (small town with Christians on the school board) for this 2012-2013 year. Things are in dissension in our home even more now that she is in school. Academically she is excelling (just as she was in home school), but character-wise she is being negatively influenced, to say the least. We knew we were running a great risk putting her in public school, but we felt led to take action to protect the rest of our children; at least we have some peace here during our home school day now. Not able to really explain all the details of our troubles, I felt led to write and ask if you would pray for our family. I feel so weary from swimming upstream against the sweeping tide of culture. Currently, our daughter is "dating at school"...she tells us this and is proud of the fact that we "can't do anything about it". We uphold the standard of no casual-dating and courtship when of marrying age. She says this is not her value system and is behaving so beligerant toward us. We don't know what to do. If we leave her in the public system, we will continue to be at war. If we bring her back to home school, we will continue to be at war. We fear our other three children will be the causualties of this battle with our daughter whom has chosen to be a rebel and a burden, rather than a blessing, to us. It is impossible to gather a complete picture from this email, but if you seek the Lord and He gives you a Word for us, won't you please send it our way? Thank you in advance for any help you might offer. Gwenn
Gwenn, I grieve with you for the difficulties that you are experiencing with your daughter. We will definitely keep you in our prayers. As a home schooling veteran of 20 years, I encourage you to remember, our hope is in the Lord, not in home schooling. And He is the perfect parent . . .
