We are proud to report to you that Zan Tyler won this years Dr. Robert Dreyfus Courageous Christian Award. Zan is a national home school leader. She was the founder and first president of South Carolina Association of Independent Home Schools (SCAIHS), a position she held for 10 years. She and her husband homeschooled their 3 children through high school. She co-authored the book, “Anyone can Homeschool,” with Dr. Terry Dorian in 1996.

Zan served as the national grassroots director for ParentalRights.org and as its homeschool editor and resource consultant for Lifeway.com. She develops and publishes Bible-based resources as director of Apologia Press, that empowers parents for homeschooling. She’s authored Seven Tools for Cultivating Your Child’s Potential in 2005; is a popular online columnist; speaks and encourages homeschooling parents across the country and around the globe.
