COLUMBIA, S.C.,—Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the Exodus Mandate Project are pleased to announce that on Saturday, February 25, 2012, the film, IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America (view trailer at www.IndoctriNationmovie.com) won the Jubilee Award as the Best Documentary at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. Additionally, IndoctriNation was the runner up to Courageous, which took top honors in the overall Best of Festival category for 2011.

E. Ray Moore, Frontline Ministries and Exodus Mandate Project, and Dr. Richard A. Jones, American Vision Board, were executive producers of IndoctriNation. Joaquin Fernandez, media consultant for Exodus Mandate, and Colin Gunn, a Scotland-born filmmaker living in Texas, were co-directors and producers. The themes expressed in the film are those of the Exodus Mandate Project, one of several sponsors of the film.

IndoctriNation explores the origins and social impact of America’s public school system and has sparked debate among Christians and atheists over the roles of faith, and government in education. “People are starting to wake up to the damaging effects of a government-controlled education monopoly,” says IndoctriNation co-director, Colin Gunn. He continues, “We now are facing all these problems in America—high taxation, welfare dependency, government debt—and as Christians and conservatives we have to see we can’t solve those problems until we solve the public schooling problem.”

At the Film Festival, Doug Phillips (President of Vision Forum) stated, “This [film] is the tool for which we have been waiting for the last 20 years.”

E. Ray Moore said, “We hope that this movie will help move several million more Christian children into K-12 Christian education and home schooling. Many Christian leaders and pastors are finally giving up on conservative public school reform.”

IndoctriNation has garnered support from Christian ministries and influential leaders across the US. MOVIEGUIDE® founder, Dr. Ted Baehr, gives his endorsement, saying, “IndoctriNation is an extremely important movie. Every church in America should show [it].” Cal Thomas, syndicated columnist and FOX News contributor says, “Every Christian parent with a child in a government school should see this.”
