TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

This letter is a personal endorsement of Chaplain (Lt. Col.) USAR Ret. E.
Ray Moore, Jr. and the ministry he founded in 1994, FRONTLINE
MINISTRIES, a revival, prayer and teaching ministry. Frontline Ministries
also sponsors the Exodus Mandate Project, which focuses on the
development of K-12 Christian schools and home-schooling for evangelical Christian families and churches. I have known Chaplain Moore for 10 years. From 1997-2001 he and his wife, Gail, were members of Grace Community Church, Columbia, SC., which I pastored during that time. It was also my privilege to serve with Ray and Gail in FRONTLINE MINISTRIES for three years as a Chaplain-on-Call. This was an association, which I greatly cherished.

Grace Community of Columbia, SC was affiliated with the Southern Gospel Mission Association (SGMA), founded by T. Michael Flowers to reach African-Americans primarily in the Southeast USA. Chaplain Moore and his wife Gail had also worked earlier with SGMA in the 1969-1971 period and helped start a new church in the black community in Augusta, GA now named Glendale Bible Chapel.

Ray and Gail Moore have a sincere love and concern for the African-American Christian community and have devoted hours of service at Grace Community Church in prayer, preaching, music, counseling and financially.

Their desire and ministry to help start K-12 Christian schools and support home schooling is very worthy and timely. Many Black Christian leaders and pastors are now discussing and planning to begin Christian schools. I urge them to consider meeting with, hearing and sponsoring Chaplain Moore in their churches, ministerial associations and district or national conventions. His ministry can supply books, literature, tapes, DVD’s and CD’s to explain the necessity of K-12 Christian education. Christians of all ethnic groups and denominations will benefit from further growth of K-12 Christian education. This kind of ministry is especially needed in the African-American Christian community and Chaplain Moore can assist any who will hear him out. Thanks.

Sincerely in Christ,

Marcel Lightbourne – Pastor Emeritus Grace Community Church …/ml.
