The Exodus Mandate celebrated its 15th anniversary on November 3, 2012 with a barbecue. The barbecue was held at the residence of E. Ray and Gail Moore. The Durocher family singers (www.durocherfamilymusic.com) entertained approximately 100 guests with their American acoustic music with a blend of traditional hymns and spiritual songs using guitars, banjo, cello, mandolin, flute, violin, etc. Paul Durocher shared briefly regarding homeschooling 12 children as well as performing 200 events per year as they travel in a massive RV across our nation. “It was a blessing meeting and networking with other people who are passionate about transforming culture by proclaiming the Gospel and the implications for family discipleship,” said Paul. “Our children and family are greatly benefited by meeting and networking with awesome visionary leaders like Ray Moore.”

Joaquin Fernandez, co-director and co-producer with Colin Gunn, of the documentary film, IndoctriNation, spoke on the history and making of the film and what impact there has been since its release in October 2011. To date, over 28,000 copies of the DVD have been sold and distributed. There was also a book signing for the new IndoctriNation companion book which was just released in September. “Our film has been received by homeschoolers and public schoolers in a way that has far exceeded our expectations. We have received letter upon letter from both parents and teachers who are getting out of the system (public school) and turning to God’s Word alone as their guide,” says Joaquin.

IndoctriNation has garnered support from Christian ministries and influential leaders across the U.S. as it explores the origins and social impact of America’s public school system and has sparked debate among Christians and atheists over the roles of faith, and government in education. IndoctriNation won the Jubilee Award as the Best Documentary at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival on February 25, 2012. (www.IndoctriNationMovie.com). Ray Moore is an executive producer of IndoctriNation.

“The state-sponsored school system has become resolutely hostile to Christianity and to this country’s founding principles. I believe the call to Christians to leave public schools in favor of homeschooling and private Christian schooling is based on Scripture,” says E. Ray Moore.
